French Pim-Pam set, 1901
Pim-Pam was another name for the new game of Table Tennis in the early years. This beautifully preserved set is dated 1901. It features a boxlid illustration of the game played by high society. The drum rackets are very clean, and there are two rules brochures, one in English, the other in French. A rare find, and especially nice for the Museum at ITTF HQs because of this French speaking region in the western part of Switzerland.
